Yara has announced the
opening of a new Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) terminal in Chasepeake,
VA. The new facility expands Yara's storage capacity throughout the
Mid-Atlantic region, allowing costumers increased access to
Air1.

In April 2013 the North American retail Diesel Exhaust Fluid
(DEF) network reached a landmark figure with over 1,000 locations
offering DEF at the fuel island. Currently, there are 1,025 such
locations - an increase of 553 since April 2012.

newest Tier 4 Final engine, the PWL 4.5L engine. The engine
will not use a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) but instead rely on
Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), Diesel Oxidation Catalyst
(DOC) and cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) technology...

Cummins unveiled its
new
QSF3.8 and
QSM12 engines last week at the Bauma show in Munich, Germany.
The QSF3.8, 3.8 liter, four-cylinder engine has an output extending
from 85-132 hp. While the heavier QSM12, 12 liter, six-cylinder
engine has an output of up to 512 hp.

Chevrolet has introduced
its 2014 Cruze
diesel passenger car.
The Cruze has an Italian-designed 2.0 liter Turbo Diesel engine
and uses Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and Diesel Particulate
Filter (DPF) technology.
